Cheeko D.

Likes: beating up bad-guys, helping out Shonnie, cracking jokes, turning into things.

Dislikes: magnets, water(he cannot swim), Shonnie’s sad moods, and being mistaken for different animals.

Powers: Cheeko’s body is made of a very durable self-repairing metal allowing him to take a lot of punishment. Cheeko’s main power is his ability to change his body and limbs into almost anything. Cheeko can also scale and suspend himself on walls and ceilings. Cheeko can also camouflage his body which allows him to secretly spy on others(usually to gain Intel for Shonnie).

Bio: Cheeko D. was built by Galax City’s local mad scientist Dr. Nelson Pine. One day when he unveiled Cheeko D. to the public to demonstrate his shape-shifting powers, his scientific rival Dr. Archimedes Screwloose shot a mind-control chip onto Cheeko’s forhead. Screwloose used the chip to take control of Cheeko and used him to wreak havoc and steal money. Dr. Pine asked his good friend Shonnie Flash to help save Cheeko and stop Screwloose’s criminal activity. After a few attempts Shonnie managed to free Cheeko from Screwloose’s control and put the evil genius behind bars. With the help of his new friend and crime-fighting partner Cheeko D.

A running gag is people not knowing what kind of animal Cheeko is and is often mistaken for some kind of animal. Dr. Pine didn’t have a “single” animal in mind when making Cheeko, so he can never give anyone an honest or accurate name.

While Shonnie may be the brains of the duo; Cheeko does provide Shonnie with both emotional support as well as a friend to laugh with. Cheeko often tries to lighten the mood of a situation and make sure his pal has a clear-head to solve any major predicament the two find themselves in.

Even though he’s a powerful shape-shifting robot, he tries hard not to invoke Shonnie’s wrath. Because of his wise-cracking and occasional insensitivity, Shonnie’s not afraid to give him a good smack in the head (or energy blast given the gravity of the offense)every now and then.

Shonnie Flash

Name:  Shonnie Flash

Age: 20

Race/Species: Human

Personality:  Kind, collected, calculating, caring, tactful, heroic, clever, and nonchalant

Likes: girls, video games, junk food, comics, music, playing the harmonica, solving mysteries, all of his friends and loved ones.

Dislikes: Being ridiculed, humiliation, losing, failing, remembering his failures, and heart break.

Friends:  Cheeko, Ray, Nikki, Kai, Jordan, Virgil, Marius, Sarna, Kevin, Arashi, e-chan, Sashi, Ashuro, Joey, Random, and many more.

Loves: Sarna, his family and friends, and solving mysteries.

Powers: A common skill in Shonnie’s family is their gift of super speed. After some further training with his grandpa, Shonnie eventually upgraded his speed to the point of teleportation.

Even before Shonnie learned martial arts he utilized his speed to defeat his foes. After the traumatic event of Shonnie losing his eyes, they were replaced with two bionic eyeballs. His eyes have a special conductor that allows him to channel his ki through his eyes and project energy from his eyes often in the forms of energy beams or bolts. His new eyes also have various functions that allow him to see through things, find invisible objects, and even follow tracks/footprints. Thanks to Shonnie’s training with his grandpa, he became a very proficient martial artist which became a vital skill in his crime-fighting.

Weapons: Shonnie uses a varitey of weapons in battle(only a few of which, he knows how to use effectively ^^;). His primary weapons are his beam sword(which is modled after a tonfa sword). Sometimes instead of using his fists to fight an opponent he will chose to fight with his beam sword(or he will dual wield two swords if he has an extra one on hand). He will ofetn adjust their settings so he dosen't actually kill his opponents. Sometimes, when he's desperate, he will have Cheeko D. to form a weapon or shield to use in combat.

Bio: Shonnie is a quick-witted, yet jocular detective who is always willing to help out anyone in need.

Shonnie wanted to be a great detective and crime-fighter like his father Jonesy Flash. Jonesy taught Shonnie everything he knew (at least the practical things anyway. ) about being a good detective and crime-fighter. Despite Shonnie's knowledge and skill, he does tend to mess things up sometimes. This resulted in ridicule by some of his peers when he tried to display his abilities.

On one fateful night, Jonesy was called for a "big" case to stop a criminal group known as the Slashing Raptors(who are set to appear soon). Not wanting to risk his son's safety he forbid Shonnie from coming on the mission with him. Shonnie misunderstood this and was seriously hurt. This made Shonnie think his father thought he was a klutz and a failure like everyone else did, causing him to storm off to his room in tears. Later that night he sneaks out to try and take on the Slashing Raptors by himself. Though, he managed to take on a few of the grunt members. He was outnumbered and overpowered by them. It wasn’t until his father showed up and intervened that the two were able to defeat them. It was then Shonnie’s father took on the boss of the Slashing Raptors, known as Donatello "Don" Raptor who was presummed dead at first. But his body was re-built as a deadly cyborg; now dawning long metal talons that could rip through almost anything as well as a pair of plasma cannons that pop out of  palms.

Unfortunately during the fight Don Raptor inflicted a fatal blow on Jonesy, resulting in his death. This caused Shonnie to be overwhelmed by sadness and anger and struck Don Raptor with a blast so powerful; he was launched out of the warehouse and as far as Shonnie kne, killed. Fearing the Slashing Raptors would come after him(after recouperarting the loss of  their boss) and put his mother Anna Flash and his baby brother Jimmy’s lives in jeopardy he decided it was best to leave and stay with his grandfather Master Williams Flash, for a while.

It was there Shonnie learned to all of his martial arts skills. His grandfather was also the reason Shonnie became such an avid lover of music, particularly jazz music. Before he left to head back to Galax City, Williams gave Shonnie his old harmonica as a present.

Because Shonnie still blames himself for the death and the hang-ups over his history of being a screw-up. Shonnie doesn’t take failure amd rejection well and often gets in a depressed and self-loathing funk when things don’t go his way.

Shonnie has a long history of having terrible luck with women. As he was mostly ignored and rejected by almost all of the girls he was interested in, some of which never giving him the time of day. This has caused him to become hostile and jealous towards some of his more popular friends. Particularly his once close friend, Kevin. Who Shonnie has a growing animosity towards, due to his seemingly perfect playboy lifestyle. He has recently gained the romantic intrest of Sashi Venus as well as his new girlfriend Sarna Yakaru, whom he loves dearly.
